- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 pieces of bratwurst sausage
- 500 g potatoes, steamed, peeled, diced 2 cm
- 150 g salad bowls, clean, thinly sliced
- 150 g romaine lettuce, roughly torn
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
- 100 ml mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard paste
- 1 tsp Capers, roughly chopped
- 1 tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- Grated cheddar cheese
- Mustard sauce: Heat a skillet, melt butter. Saute onion until fragrant. Lift.
- Mix sauted onions with mayonnaise, mustard, Capers,sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Set aside.
- Combine stir-fry onions with mayonnaise, mustard, Capers, powdered sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Set aside.
- Presentation: Arrange lettuce leaves on serving plates. Put the potatoes and sausage on top. Serve with mustard sauce and supplementary materials.
**) Bratwurst: typical German Sausage. Diameter larger than the usual sausage.
***) Capers: Pickled capers are derived from plants that grow in the Mediterranean region. Sold in glass bottles at supermarkets.
